Principal’s Message
Welcome to the academic year 2021! I as well as the amazing staff at JIS College am looking forward to continuing to build positive relationships that have always been vital to student success, growth, and achievement. Here we work together as a team with the family, society, and community to encourage and motivate all students to reach their fullest potential.
Looking back at our previous academic years, we have much to celebrate and be thankful for! Our staff, students, and parents helped JIS College to earn all types of academic success. Last year was the most successful one at every level. I take humble pride in sharing with you that we have achieved government accreditation as the first English Version College to provide Higher Secondary level education in south Bangladesh.
It is an auspicious feeling for me to be the principal of JIS College; I am delighted that our institute’s values align with my own personal values, including the importance of discipline, respect, innovation, and a sense of responsibility. I know that the development of our institute over the past few years has been significant. With our international standard of education in English Version, while living in the lap of their hometown Barishal, our learners are continually encouraged to appreciate and care for others by becoming global citizens and develop a concern and active respect for our country. We believe that each and every student has a gift to share, and we work hard to unlock their highest potential to grow into well-rounded citizens.
Similar to the previous years, the school and college curriculum will continue to be regularly reviewed to ensure that it remains appropriate to the needs of our learners. In addition, the ongoing digitalization process and web-based education system will allow learners and teachers to fully exploit the very best of modern learning opportunities.
The staff here at JIS College is a remarkably dedicated group of professionals that are working hard each and every day to support our students’ growth academically, socially, and emotionally. I take this opportunity to acknowledge the extremely hard work of our dedicated staff and faculty by working round the clock to keep JIS College at the apex of success.
We strongly believe in the importance of teachers, parents, and administrators collaborating and communicating openly and frequently. We continually improve the quality of tools of communication, including sending our parents all the instant messages and access to interactive meetings all year round where they can retrieve pertinent information about their children’s academic achievement.
We all want the best for our students, but we are not enough. You, the parents, must play a key role in the education of your children. Your words of encouragement, a hug when the day has been rough, your interest in your children’s work, and your presence at the campus are vital! So you are encouraged to regularly check our exciting academic and co-curricular activities.
We count the parents. Let’s work together! Come to school, meet us, talk to us, and volunteer your time and energy. Your involvement will show your children that you value their education.
