Attendance
Parents not only have a responsibility to make sure that their children are dressed properly and attend school regularly, but also that their children arrive at school on time.
Children are able to reap the benefit of our curriculum if they attend class regularly. Long leave for personal reasons is discouraged. A school calendar showing holiday dates is published in each child’s homework diary, try to take holiday for study at home on the dates school is not in session. Poor attendance (less than 90%) will affect your child’s grades. Excellent attendance is marked with a certificate of merit at the end of the school year.
A student must have 75 % attendance to appear in the semester examination. Therefore, it is to alert the student and the guardian that any student having less than 75% attendance at school will NOT be allowed to appear in semester exams or any other school/board exams. No request or petition will be accepted in this regard. The decision taken by the school authority will be treated as the endmost one.
